Made Sutarjaya, born in the village of Bantas on July 3, 1978, is an artist hailing from Bali, Indonesia. Growing up as the child of a farmer, he developed a passion for drawing from a young age and actively started painting in 1997. He pursued his education at the School of Fine Arts in Batu Bulan, Gianyar. Since 1997, Made Sutarjaya has been actively organizing joint exhibitions both in Bali and beyond, including in Brebes, Blitar, Yogyakarta, and Jakarta. His artworks have garnered recognition, with one of his paintings making it to the top 5 Favorite Indonesian Artist Watercolors at the Indonesia International Watercolor Competition and Exhibition 2021, which featured artists from 62 countries. Additionally, he achieved second place in the Seminyak Village Live Painting Competition and, in 2021, he was honored with the Rosa Watercolor Best Award by Artmate International in Association With N.B Gurung Art Studio, Nepal Presents. Made Sutarjaya's artistic journey continues to flourish, and he remains a notable figure in Bali's vibrant art community.
